Blackmagic Computers

Ok so as I have said before I use to work for Best Buy. I was the Geek Squad Supervisor (A.K.A DCI) also known as “Deputy of Counter Intelligence.” I enjoyed my time at Best Buy but the one thing that I couldnt get over was how much they charge for repair computers. The one thing that ive noticed is that when going to a big company like Best Buy they can tend to forget about the little guy. You know who im talking about because its most of you. The person that doesnt have a whole lot of money to spend on fixing a 4 year old computer for $350.00! Lets face it now a days you could just spend a little more money and go buy a new desktop for that price.

I decided that I wanted to create a company that people could come to and not feel like they were trying to be sold something that they didn’t really need. One of the things that bothered me at Best Buy was that you never seemed to have enough people to be able to do your job effectively. At our store we had anywhere from 20 to 40 computers at a time! It was difficult to get the computer repaired under the policy of a 48 hour turn around time.

Now i’m not saying Best Buy’s Geek Squad is a bad thing. Best Buy is a good company. The problem I see is that it tends to be hit and miss with the quality of the service you get at the Geek Squad. Some times it all depends on which store you happen to go to.
